SUPA Interference Investigation Sustained!!!
On March 26th, 2010 I sent the email below to my administration. I received notice as of 7-9-10 that the investigation was found to be "sustained".
Subject: Interference with SUPA
t was brought to my attention from two of our officers and experienced by me personally that at least one of our supervisors and or employees of our PD may have violated the sections referenced below. In the past weeks, SUPA has been targeted at our own station by acts of anonymous retaliation and interference of union activities. These acts have included removing and destroying items from SUPA's union board and other locations in the department, hostile anti-union emails to me, officers being encouraged indirectly by supervisor(s) not to attend union meetings and throwing trash and other items in SUPA's recycling bins. I will not tolerate this at our agency or anywhere's else in our system.
I am requesting a formal Internal Affairs Investigation from Lt. Joe Green be completed on these allegations and that this behavior immediately cease. Please consider this a formal request for a investigation.
