2012 Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay

Hello again all!

The time of the year has come where we begin to establish our running team for the 2012 Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay race that will be held in Las Vegas on Saturday, April 21 – 22, 2012.

As you know, our team is made up of men and women from CSU police departments across the state. The race starts in Baker, CA, ends in Las Vegas, NV, and consists of 20 legs that average 6 miles each. We will be competing against 260 other running teams; we will use twenty runners, five alternate runners, and a number of support staff to complete this race.

We are now forming an interest list for this year's upcoming race. The interest list is open to all sworn and civilian CSU police, public safety, and parking enforcement staff. Assignments available include runners, alternate runners, and support staff—command-post, follow-vehicle, and a race exchange point support position.
